Arcane Blademasters Volume I
Academy of Misfits
A young dark elf, sold by his parents to a cult of wizards, escapes their torturous experiments and captivity with one vow: to become the most powerful warlock in Atheria. In his quest for power, Kael must overcome abandonment and tragic loss, an Academy that doesn't want him, a Guild that fears him, a party of misfits who are his only companions, a perplexing duty-bound female elf paladin who can cancel out his magic, and a world that is literally being torn apart. That is, if channeling Chaos magic directly doesn't drive him mad first.
